Many administrative applications are hosted on the mainframe.  A Log in ID is required to access the mainframe.  Your use of this Log in ID must be in accordance with PS-107 (Use of Computing Resources). Secure (encrypted) access to mainframe systems may be accomplished via the Host-on-Demand product.

To obtain a Mainframe Log in ID, login to PAWS and navigate to "Computing Services" > "IMS/TSO Account Request." 
Delivery Timeline or
Response Time
Approximately 24 hours after you submit your request, you will be able to set your own password via your PAWS page, under "Personal Preferences" > "Password Management."

Authorizations
Mainframe access to administrative applications is granted by the departments having the custodial responsibility for the particular records. For assistance or problems using a particular administrative application, please contact the appropriate university office (Payroll for payroll, registrar for student related systems, etc.).

A data steward is responsible for the management of the enterprise data at LSU.
