Description
|
Many administrative applications are hosted on the mainframe. A Log in ID is required to access the mainframe. Your use of this Log in ID must be in accordance with PS-107 (Use of Computing Resources). Secure (encrypted) access to mainframe systems may be accomplished via the Host-on-Demand product. |

To obtain a Mainframe Log in ID, login to PAWS and navigate to "Computing Services" > "IMS/TSO Account Request."

Delivery Timeline or
Response Time
|
Approximately 24 hours after you submit your request, you will be able to set your own password via your PAWS page, under "Personal Preferences" > "Password Management."

Authorizations
|
Mainframe access to administrative applications is granted by the departments having the custodial responsibility for the particular records. For assistance or problems using a particular administrative application, please contact the appropriate university office (Payroll for payroll, registrar for student related systems, etc.).
A data steward is responsible for the management of the enterprise data at LSU. |
