Faculty and Staff can set up a guest account for visitors to the University by going to netguest.lsu.edu.  This account gives guest access to the LSU network and is valid for lsusecure and lsuguest wireless networks, as well as MAC address registration for the wired network.  These accounts do not provide LSU domain access.

Description

Faculty and Staff can set up a guest account for visitors to the University by going to netguest.lsu.edu.  This account gives guest access to the LSU network and is valid for lsusecure and lsuguest wireless networks, as well as MAC address registration for the wired network.  These accounts do not provide LSU domain access.

The faculty/staff member that requests the account has an option to choose how long the account will be active, up to thirty days.  If the guests account needs to be active for longer than thirty days, the faculty or staff member can contact the helpdesk.  A workorder should be put in requesting an account that will be active for a specified period.
