Description

Eligibility
Available for faculty and staff LSU-owned machines.
Students can use SPSS on vlab.lsu.edu or on lab computers at no charge.
Ordering & Request Procedures Forms or Links
  1. Have your business office prepare a GLS IT (Internal Transaction) debiting your budget code for $100 for the first year and leave the IT with an incomplete status. (We also accept checks and Credit cards)
  2. Create a work order by sending an e-mail to helpdesk@lsu.edu including the following information:
    1. A statement that you are purchasing a SPSS license or licenses. Including the number of requested licenses and the version that you would like to install, we currently offer versions 16 and 17.
    2. The IT number from the incomplete Internal Transaction discussed above.
    3. The name, phone number, and e-mail address of the person to contact about the request.
    4. The name(s) of the user(s) who will be using SPSS along with their phone number and office location.
  3. Upon receiving the previous information, ITS will send you an e-mail with your license code.
  4. Download SPSS Software

Response Time
Once Internal Transaction Number is received, the authorization codes will be sent to you within 2 business days.
Fees
$100 per license annually (faculty and staff only).
No charge for students.
Authorizations
Windows Vista Enterprise or Windows XP.
